On the road when I looked up towards where the lake was located, I hoped that I was looking at the wrong direction as I saw lot of fresh snow on its surrounded mountains which were partially covered by clouds but it didn't turn as it looked. The parking lots was snow free and I didn't hit snow till I got to about 1050m. I started to use snowshoes when I reached the boulder at altitude 1450m. There were a number of tracks and the trail was fairly well packed but you absolutely need snowshoes to get to the lake. The last 100m I couldn't see any track because of the fresh snow. I also had some concerns about the snow quality and the chances of a slide. The lake was still mostly frozen but there was a small melted part. The trail was absolutely well marked except the last 150m. I enjoyed the hike tremendously. It was as I would wish it to be. (P.S. each picture has a time stamp to give you time context of my progress).
