We started at around 1pm with beautiful weather at the trail head. The parking lot was pretty packed and there were heaps of people on the trail. After we passed the first campsite the crowd got less.
The trail is easy to follow and climbs very gently to the turn of to the Three Brothers. When we got to the alpine meadows we got in to a pretty wild thunderstorm and took shelter under some trees for a couple of minutes.
After this the weather was stil llooking pretty bad but we continued to the tutn off to the peak. We got into another thunderstorm with heavy rain and hail and again had to seek shelter. After this, the weather got a little better and we continued to the Kicking horse campsite.
On the second day, the weather was very nice, blue skies and a gentle wind. On the way back we also finally could made it to the peak (easy sramble) and got some great views of Manning Park and the North Cascades.
