Nice trail for this time of the year. It is not too far away from Vancouver and also not too long so the shorter days are not a problem. Took me about 5 hours return.
There are a lot of trails on that mountain and at least 8 different kinds of markers and flags which can sometimes get confusing. I took a wrong turn twice because of poor or confusing flagging and had to backtrack.
Shortly after Chadsey Lake I ran into two big signs that said that the trail was closed because it were destroyed and that steep cliffs and rock falls were coming. However, I thought I gave it a try and discovered that at least the summit trail is in a good condition and there were no difficult or exposed parts. Don't know why they put the signs there. Maybe the approach from the western side is not possible anymore.
From the summit viewpoint I got a nice view of the eastern valley and enjoyed a quick snack before heading back.
