This is an interesting moderate trail. It is named as the 10 viewpoints. The best viewpoint is the first one The others almost repeat the same view and most of the rest are treed. I went also to a viewpoint that overlooks Buntzen Lake which many people bypass it. It is not bad.

The trail is well marked but there are confusing sections especially at the end. I marked a fork where I took a wrong turn mistakenly. The wrong turn may merge back to the old Lake trail eventually but that was not my plan. Finding the suspension bridge is tricky. I also marked the shortcut in the pictures.

Once on the north shore of the lake, the trail widens up and becomes almost flat. Some people run it. This trail is actually the Buntzen Lake trail that circles the lake. It is also busier. I met 4 people on Diez Vista trail and many more on the other side of the lake.

There is a new bridge but it might not be that new. It replaces the old wooden bridge which used to be flooded sometimes. This section of the lake is dry now too. It seems that was cut off from the rest of the lake.

P.S. If your are curious how the photo geotags are generated, they are generated automatically using a normal digital camera and no waypoints. See the help file for more details.

Buntzen Lake from the bridge. It seemed to me that this section has been cut off from the rest of the lake.
