Somehow, we missed the first major turn and ended up doing an interesting route.

Thank goodness for the GPS, we were able to follow a logging road that was situated further east of Harvey's normal trail, but not quite on the Lions.

This trail wound up putting us in the Howe Sound Crest Trail and actually made the trip better (we saw more, being a loop), and we got to see a small bear hugging a tree!

Climbing over the top form magnesia meadows was a challenge but once we did, WOW! That ridge walk back down through the red heather was amazing. this is a trip that really should be done in Fall.
