Magnificent hike, has it all, waterfalls, forests and vistas the will blow your socks off!!!
I will mention that I do not recommend this to anyone with short legs (!), as the first part of this is more of a climb than a hike, but well worth it. Also the part across the rockfall is a micro scramble!
I was considering returning down the same way until I got there - far too steep to try that. But don't think the logging road return is not good, the views from there are some of the best, across the valley to the snow capped mountains and river below.

One piece of advice on finding the trail head. The instructions say to park 20m just after the 1st bridge after the power station. Don't do this. Drive to the second small bridge after the power station and park on the road just before the 2nd bridge. Walk across the and you will see the trail head on the right. It took me a while to find it with the previous instructions, so hopefully this will help other people!

Only small patches of melting snow at the top, no need to special equipment. Very lucky with the early warm weather we are having, although the forecast is changing next week and might have more snow in the area, if it is to believed!!

This is now one of my fav hikes I have done in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Sea to Sky area. Highly recommended!!!
