A good re-do of a classic snowshoe that we enjoyed a year ago to the day. Overcast weather to start; and routefinding was far easier on this the second go-round.

We varied the route slightly in the beginning - it was a touch more direct than last year's. The going up was fairly uneventful as we had more consolidated snow this time, and less of it. As we approached the summit, a whiteout storm besieged us. Visibility was, at times, down to a couple of meters. After weathering it out, the trek down was fun and everyone was in high spirits. Car-to-car was about 9 hours.

No photos from me today but Ahmad has quite a few. Thanks everyone for a great trip.

True that. And it was good to put this complex mountain behind us. More navigational challenges ahead. :)
