My first time up Strachan, I enjoyed the little gully between the peaks, good views. I just kind of rambled my way up trying to avoid the road, but keeping it direct as it started to quickly darken and I was excited to see a new angle of some of my north shore favourites, before the clouds came in. It was sunny on the peak but started snowing soon after. I looked for the old Strachan trail on my way down and just ended up strolling until I met up with the Baden Powell, which i was surprised to see free of tracks. There is a hefty cornice on the north peak, another smaller but longer one on the south.

Good to see pictures from North shores. It seems the snow will be staying for a while. Thanks for sharing.
