Can't complain about this one... still TOP 20 for me... even without the snow and golden larches. It has a little of everything... nice forest switchbacks, gorgeous meadows with stellar views, some very mild
scrambling up the the rim of the peak ridge and then a nice walk up to the summit while taking it all in 360 degrees! I started a new hiking meetup...check out whats coming next!BC Peaks & Trails Hiking Group
Water: about 1.25hrs in at log cabin shelter, and again just off the main trail at the base of the bowl.
Bugs: negligible except it seemed the longer you stayed at the top the more they became apparent.
People: a good amount out and about on a beautiful Sunday
Weather: a thunder cloud rolled in somewhat suddenly form the south and there was a serious downpour for about 15 minutes, but we were already sitting in the pub enjoying our meals. People left on the trail, probably not so happy or comfortable.
Have fun out there, stay safe and see you on the trails!
