We have a similar experience as another person who posted with finding the WRONG cabin. This was our first time and unknowingly we started down the wrong path. Within a few minutes we passed 3 signs which warned us, "Danger, bear traps". Shortly thereafter we came upon a cabin in the woods. We were confused because the cabin should have taken at least an hour, not 10 minutes.
I want to approach this as polite as I can, but can someone help me with some nagging questions? Beside the cabin we came across a tiny graveyard with bones that didn't appear to match a human or dog; the jaw bone seemed too large. There was also a cross made out of bones. Is this an aboriginal practice, or some religion I'm not aware of? What could possibly be buried there?
I think the trail information should be updated so others don't make the same mistake we did. The final distance on your odometer should be set for 1.2 kilometers to reach the southern trail head.
I got a weird feeling being on that property, but that could have also been my imagination. ...
