This turned out to be a good exercise hike (we only did the part up the steep side and back down,.. so "uno" Vista only). I've done the various permutations of DV at least a dozen times over the years so wasn't super exceited but actually was reminded of how decent it is.
Hoards of under-dressed SFU students were on the trail but not the usual plethora of dogs.
Up and down in less than 3 hours,.. I think this one could be a good addition to Lynn Peak and the BCMC as training destinations (close to city, short, high cardio if going fast).
It was amazing to think that in early March, people we comfortable wearing shorts and tank tops.
