DIRECTIONS: From Mission downtown, drive east 9Km on Lougheed Hwy. Turn left into Hawkins Pickle Rd. Dewdney Peak will be visible on your left side. Drive 2.3Km and continue onto Bell Rd. About 300m, you will see the gate to the logging road which is called Norrish FSR. Drive about 1Km. The trailhead is located on the left side when the logging road turns quite sharply. It is not marked and may take a while to find it. Park on the logging road.create

Trail to the cabin was dry and dusty, footing was a little loose on the steeper parts. A logging road was blasted across the trail about a year ago crossing the path twice as you approach the cabin. There is a fallen tree just above the second road cut that has landed on the trail; it doesn't really block the trail though and can be used as a hand hold on this fairly steep section.
