Meadows gorgeous! - but needed to go further than usual, a couple of km past Bonnevier junction to find them in their prime. All the lupines that carpet the area around Bonnivier had already gone to seed. Meadows at their peak bloom a bit earlier this year it seemed. Past their prime on Aug. 9th but still a worthwhile show. Unfortunately, the mountain views were very hazy from smoke - Okanagan forest fires. Not especially easy breathing on the trail, I sneezed a lot in the smokey air. A lot of people out despite the smoke.Reads:16 Likes:1
