I overnighted at Tenquille Lake, went off trail up the little valley between Mt. McLeod and Gingerbread Mt., climbed around and over Gingerbread, straight down to the two lakes below Barbour and then up Barbour's west side/ridge where there was a little bit of class 2 scrambling near the top. Great views all around. After dropping back down into Barbour's valley I took the trail that goes down the valley and then hangs a left and works its way back up to Tenquille Lake. 6.5 hours (counting breaks) for the daytrip to the peaks. Bugs were everywhere at all hours of the day.Reads:12 Likes:1
