MAP & DIRECTIONS
SUMMARY: Start from Lions Bay parking lot. Follow the logging road, take first right, second left on the Brunswick trail. Go right on next intersection which is hidden by a blowdown and trees. (Don't go on the bottom logging road, it goes to Hat Mountain). Follow the road to the end and go steeply up the forest. At the intersection with HSCT, turn left and traverse below the steep slopes of Brunswick. Go back up to Hat/Brunswick pass. Then down a large bassin. Cross it without loosing too much elevation and head for Hanover. We went up the right gully (Southwest) which was covered with snow. It's steep and crampons and ice axe were needed. We went down the same gully, then traversed towards Magnesia Meadow. Contour the East slopes of Brunswick and go up a wide gully, to join the HSCT. Follow it to the emergency hut and the back (West) slopes of Harvey. We went down the south slopes of Harvey and back on the logging road. The total cumulative gain is closer to 2150m.create
