Rainy Peak
Trail shares the same route to Tetrahedron for first few km. I swings out of old logging road temporarily into a foot trail then cross the creek with wired bridge. Then back to logging road and shortly past a first washout there is a bunch of flagging to turn up hill to right. Follow this switch back trail. If you lose it, go on your left to ascend along the steep ridge straight up. Flagging and trail is often a bit confusing but it ascends pretty much purely along the ridge. After around 1180m or so, it starts to swing to the left off the ridge. Watch for the flagging. Then again goes along sometime dry shallow creek valley. This eventually takes you to alpine at 1300m point suddenly. Remember this position for your return. From here generally go along the ridge on your right till a steep cliff near the peak. Go around to the left till this cilff is easy enough to ascent. Upon ascending this cliff swing right again to aim the peak. Soon you will reach the East sub peak. West main peak is reached in a few minutes.
