SUMMARY: There is a marked trail in the summer. In winter, the trail to Hollyburn is a popular snowshoe. The route past Hollyburn to Strachan is rarely visited in winter; it is steep and requires route-finding skills and ability to recognize avalanche terrain. Part of mini Cypress Sweep - Hollyburn > Strachen >> St Marks via Christmas Gulley then back to the Cypress parking lot via Howe Sound Crest Trail. Took us about 6-7 hours round trip at a moderate clip.
