This trail was worth checking out only as a curiosity to see why it was put in 109 Walks. The lake itself is very nice, and on a clear day the tanatalus range would likely be reflected for a nice photo. However, getting there is mostly loggin roads with nothing scenic whatsoever, and it doesn't present much of a workout.
There are better trails (even if you are looking fr something easy) in the area if you are going to make the drive:
Cheakamus Lake
Debeck Hill
Alice Lakes
(or High Falls if you want something more challenging).
