Plenty of snow! Snow started about half way up. Lots of rhododendrun. Too early for the flowers. Need to come back in June?
Pleasant temperature to hike on steep trail. It's quite steep in the first 1/4 miles. About half way through, we hit snow patch, and then lots of snow, and snow falling from the sky. Load gps on your phone, or follow steps.
Didn't see any view from the lookout. On a clear day, supposed to have good view here. There're 2 beds inside the lookout. Probably you can stay overnight.
